Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

• Enquiries. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message. We use them only to answer you and to prepare the travel services you ask about (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries).
• Newsletter. When you subscribe we store your email address and the date and page of the signup, to send you travel inspiration and offers. This is based on your consent; every email contains an unsubscribe link and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
• Technical data. Like every website, our server briefly processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The contact and newsletter forms count submissions per IP address for a few minutes to stop abuse.
• Statistics. If analytics are active on this site, Google Analytics measures visits in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you.

Cookies

The site works without tracking cookies. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting and content-delivery provider to keep the site secure. Analytics cookies are only used if analytics are active.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. It is processed on our behalf by our website hosting and content-delivery provider, by our email provider, by our newsletter service if you subscribed, and by Google if analytics are active. When your trip is being arranged we share what is necessary with the hotels, carriers and partners who provide the services you book. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to two years afterwards, unless a booking follows, in which case the legal retention periods for contracts and tax records apply.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: for a short period, as set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, for the restriction of its processing, for a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to inquiry@tourgreece.gr; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
